Spatial disorientation led to U-28A crash in Djibouti

Spatial disorientation caused the crash of a USAF Special Operations Command U-28A in Djibouti, investigators determined.

The investigation into the Feb. 18 crash found that the crew experienced “spatial disorientation” and failed to sense the position, motion or attitude of the plane.
