      Dual band (X&S Bands) was a leading design requirement for the advanced radar systems for DDG 1000 Zumwalt Destroyers. In 2010 the S Band was deleted, “too much of a technology leap”. Perhaps now that “rash” Ashton Carter decision can be reconsidered. :)
