An E-6B crew from the 625th Strategic Operations Squadron launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile from Vandenberg Air Force Base early Wednesday.
The simulated reentry vehicle hit its target 4,200 miles away in the Pacific Ocean.
