A PLAAF J-7 fighter crashed into a building in Shantou, Guangdong province around 9 a.m. this morning. The pilot ejected safely but four on the ground were hurt. A woman, age 26, is in serious condition.
Crash site is about 7 km from Shantou Waisha Airport. The 9th Fighter Division, 27th Air Regiment is believed to be operating out of this former civilian airport.
