A Myanmar Mi-35 helicopter went down in the country’s north on Friday and the Kachin guerrillas claimed they shot it down.
Myanmar’s deputy information minister and presidential spokesman, Ye Htut, confirmed on his Facebook page that a government helicopter had crashed, but said engine failure was to blame. All three on board were killed.
