Two Japanese spy satellites launched successfully

Japan has put two spy satellites into orbit on Jan. 27 using a H-IIA rocket. One of them is a SAR satellite while the other is an demonstration satellite testing a new high-resolution optical system.

Japan now has two radar and three optical spy satellites in orbit.
