Sale of F-35s to Israel could violate Japan’s export ban

Japan’s Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera admitted at a news conference that F-35s exported to Israel would conflict with Japan’s export ban as Japanese parts are involved.

Japan’s arms control rules bar the export of weapons or parts to countries involved in or likely to be involved in international conflicts.
