Japan’s Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera is confident the F-35’s problems will sort out

Japan’s Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera said in an interview that the F-35 program will overcome its development setbacks and the “end result will be a good product.”

Asked if Japan could abandon its deal with Lockheed Martin, Onodera said “at this point we aren’t thinking of doing that.”
