Japan removes F-35 parts from arms export ban list

The new Japanese government has excluded Japanese-made F-35 parts from its arms export ban list on Mar. 1.

Japan declared in 1967 that it will not export weapons to countries involved in, or likely to be involved in conflict. There were concerns that Israel purchase of the F-35 could violate this rule.
