U.S. President Barack Obama nominated Air Force Gen. Philip Breedlove to succeed Navy Adm. James Stavridis as NATO’s supreme allied commander Europe.
Breedlove is currently commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Africa and Air Component Command.
