Rosoboronexport said on Thursday that Russia will deliver 12 Mi-17V5 military transport helicopters to Afghanistan by the end of 2013.
Afghanistan is exercising its option to buy these helicopters that was part of a package when it bought 21 Mi-17V5s in 2011.
