Chinese Y-8J AEW&C flies by Japan’s southern islands for first time
Japan scrambled fighter jets on Wednesday after a Chinese Y-8J early warning plane flew through international airspace between Okinawa prefecture’s main island and the smaller Miyako island in southern Japan for the first time.
