LRASM successfully test fired

DARPA and the Office of Naval Research (ONR) has successfully fired the prototype Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) from a B-1B on Aug. 27.

After flying a pre-planned route halfway to its target, the anti-ship missile switched to autonomous mode and was able to pick out its programmed target from two other vessels.
