When asked whether his service is interested in Lockheed Martin’s SR-72, U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh would not comment on it and added that he had not spoken to Lockheed officials about the hypersonic plane.
Nevertheless, he said he was interested in hypersonic technology.
