Is the new serrated exhaust nozzle connected to the much rumored high thrust indigenous WS-15 that’s been in development for the J-20 for many years?
Is the J-20 finally being weaned off the AL-31 and if so will we see the J-20 supercruising as originally intended?
To admit this too is sadly only a photoshop-work ! However the original poster noted this and as such this image was not made to fool, but simply to show what the nozzles are said to look like.
Besides that to admit these are surely not the WS-15, which onl yentered core bench-testing last years (?) … and IMO is again most likely an AL-31FN-version.
