North Korea has built two helicopter carrying frigates in recent years, the warships are expected to boost the country’s weak anti-submarine capabilities.
The first ship was laid down at Namp’o Shipyard in 2010 and the other vessel was constructed at No. 28 Shipyard in Najin in 2011.
