The Indian Ministry of Defense has approached local companies to produce a new anti-aircraft gun to replace its aging Bofors L-70.
Defense analysts however felt that the new endeavor is bound to fail as local companies lacked the technology and potential foreign partners such as Rheinmetall are banned from participating.
