Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense has refuted a report by Asia Weekly that Tien Chien I surface-to-air missiles will be deployed to Taiping Island in South China Sea.
The ministry reiterated that defense of the island is the responsibility of the Coast Guard Administration.
