Pentagon drafting memorandum on how to better handle future F-35 incidents

U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Welsh revealed that the Pentagon is drafting a memorandum on how to deal with F-35 incidents.

There were reports about confusion on how to handle a F-35 engine fire at Eglin Air Force Base on Jun. 23. The F-35 program office and officials from Pratt and Whitney were shut out of the investigation process.
