The Indian Navy is finally getting a new batch of Barak 1 ship-borne point-defense missiles to replace old stock.
Although the previous government had approved the purchase in principle, there was no effort to conclude a deal for 262 missiles.
The Modi government is expected to have the cabinet committee on security approve the purchase soon.
