The F-35 Joint Program Office has selected the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center to perform independent software safety analyses of the aircraft.
SASL will be responsible for performing an independent assessment of safety-critical software requirements, design and code in the aircraft’s operational flight program software.
