Two Chinese Y-8 aircraft separately entered Taiwan’s Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Aug. 25.
The patrol planes are believed to have taken off from Shantou and were heading to South China Sea.
Both aircraft entered the southwest corner of the ADIZ and Taiwan’s air defense controllers issued verbal warnings on 121.5 MHZ radio channel.
