B-1B friendly fire was avoidable
The investigation into the friendly fire accident by a B-1B bomber in Afghanistan concluded that the misfortune incident was avoidable had the soldiers, commanders and air crew not made communication mistakes.
Russian MiG-31 crashed
A Russian Air Force MiG-31 crashed near the city of Armavir on Sept. 4. The crew had to eject after encountering a problem with the port landing gear.
Reuters: Canada to choose between F/A-18 and F-35
According to Reuters, Canada will decide between the Boeing F/A-18E/F and Lockheed Martin F-35.

Canada help fund pilot training for Hungary at NFTC
Hungary hasn’t been able to come up with $9 million a year to send its pilots to the NATO Flying Training Centre in Moose Jaw, Canada for flight training. Thus, Canada step in and foot the bill according to documents.
