This year’s Vigilant Eagle – an air defense exercise involving U.S., Canada and Russia has been canceled.
A spokesman for NORAD said the decision to cancel the exercise was made by U.S. Defense Department officials and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper “due to the situation in Ukraine.”
