MV-22B aircrew presumed lost at sea

One crew member of a U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B is presumed lost at sea after the aircrew bailed out of the aircraft on Oct. 1 when it appeared the tiltrotor was about to crash in the Arabian Gulf.

The aircraft lost power shortly after takeoff from USS Makin Island and he and another aircrew exited the aircraft. The other aircrew was safely recovered.
