European military officials revealed that the recent problem affecting the Eurofighter was poorly drilled rivet holes on the rear fuselage.
“We would like to make clear that this issue does not affect flight safety, neither does it impact ongoing fleet flying or limit fleet operations,” Eurofighter GmbH Chief Executive Alberty Gutierrez said in a statement.
