The U.S. military has step up its campaign to save the Syrian town of Kobani from being overran by ISIL forces by air dropping arms and supplies using C-130s over the weekend.
Senior administration officials told reporters that three C-130s dropped 27 bundles of small arms, ammunition and medical supplies.
