Taiwan has been forced to give up its Yunfeng medium-range ballistic missile production program due to pressure from the United States.
A news report said the missile was successfully tested in 2013 and it flew 1,200km into the Pacific Ocean.
All the research staff in the program have been reassigned to other programs, including a new research effort to develop a micro-satellite rocket launcher.
