Sequestration forced USAF to curtail ACM training for its F-16 pilots

Faced with funding cuts back in 2012, the U.S. Air Force’s Air Combat Command decided that its F-16 pilots stop dogfight training.

F-16s on Wild Weasel missions were also exempted from training for close air support.
