Lt. Gen. Ellen M. Pawlikowski, the U.S. Air Force’s top acquisition official, told reporters that she expects Boeing to meet its deadline to deliver 18 new KC-46As in August 2017.
However, recent events in prototyping the aircraft has taken away extra margins in the development program. This could threaten the 2017 delivery date if further problems arose.
