An al-Qaida affiliate in Yemen has claimed responsibility for the attack on Al-Annad airbase on Dec. 11.
The group said it fired six grad missiles at the “American section” of the base, in retaliation for killings of Yemenis, during a rescue attempt by U.S. Special Forces last week.
