USAF Secretary Deborah Lee James indicated that her service will downgrade the requirements for the upcoming T-X advanced jet trainer contest in order to save costs.
Speaking at the Atlantic Council, James said: “By gathering data from a range of sources it should be possible to identify instances where small changes in capability could have a major effect on cost.”
