Britain will cease pilot conversion training for its F-35 fleet in the United States by 2019 and stand up a unit at Royal Air Force’s Marham base to do the conversions locally.
The unit will have five F-35Bs, according to parliamentary under secretary of state Lord Astor of Hever.
