French General Jean-Paul Palomeros, Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, told Reuters last week at a conference in Washington that NATO is exploring on requirements to replace the Boeing E-3 AWACS.
And instead of buying a new aircraft to replace the current one, NATO could adopt a “system of systems” approach and utilize various platforms to do the same work.
