The latest budget proposal submitted by the U.S. Air Force contains a request for $37 million to build an F-35 flight simulator facility at Eielson Air Force Base.
If approved, the facility will have six bays to train pilots flying the 48 F-35As that are expected to be stationed there in 2020.
