There will be two heavy maintenance facilities in Asia Pacific for the F-35 fighter, one in Japan and the other in Australia. Reuters says BAE Systems has been picked to do the aircraft work while Tasman Aviation Enterprises (TAE) will service the F135 engine in Australia.
