RAF’s first A400M has been named “City of Bristol”

The Royal Air Force has named its first A400M transport aircraft the “City of Bristol” in honor of the city’s contributions to the aircraft’s program.

The wings of the plane were designed and manufactured at the Airbus factory in Filton, Bristol. Bristol is also home to a few aerospace companies that support the A400M program.
