Work: Anti-ship test of Tomahawk Block IV ‘game changing’

Speaking at the WEST 2015 conference, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Bob Work said last month’s test of a Tomahawk Block IV cruise missile against a moving maritime target was ‘game changing.’

“This is potentially a game changing capability for not a lot of cost. It’s a 1000 mile anti-ship cruise missile.”

Work added that the test was a good example of the Third Offset Strategy by quickly adapting existing technology.
