North Korea using renewable energy at air base

The state news agency in North Korea reported that one of the countries air bases is now powered by renewable energy.

Photos show North Korean leader Kim Jong Un touring Kwail Airfield in South Hwanghae Province. The news report says the solar cum wind turbine plant has been operating since 2011 and the idea was initiated by the late Kim Jong Il.
