CVN-79 will have Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar

The U.S. Navy has found that its feasible to install the new Enterprise Air Surveillance Radar (EASR) into aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy (CVN-79).

The new EASR was meant to enter the fleet in the amphibious assault ship LHA-8 and in USS Enterprise (CVN-80), however, the service was able to readjust the schedule and have it installed on CVN-79.
