Laws may have been broken in Philippine’s procurement of 21 UH-1Ds

The Manila Times has obtained documents suggesting that Department of National Defense officials may have broken laws in the purchase of 21 UH-1D helicopters.

Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) had denied the request to directly negotiate the purchase of the helicopters instead of thru competitive bidding.

Negotiations are only allowed after two failed bidding, check by Manila Times found that there was only one failed bidding process on Dec. 4, 2012.
