A record that was once held by the 44th Fighter Squadron for most number of sorties flown over four days at Kadena Air Force Base, Japan has been broken by the 67th Fighter Squadron.

The unit had set a target of 267 sorties in order to beat the old record of 244 sorties. In the end, they exceed those goals by completing 278 sorties.
