RoKAF to reorganize command structure

The Republic of Korea Air Force will abandon its current geographically arranged command structure and shift to a new one.

Southern and Northern Combat Commands will be taken over by the new Air Combat Command and the Air Mobility & Reconnaissance Command.

The new function-based structure will be tested from July and fully introduce from January next year.
