JTAC uses tablet to designate target for Griffin missile

DARPA’s Persistent Close Air Support (PCAS) program was able to do a full-system demonstration during exercise TALON REACH on Mar. 27.

During the demonstration, a JTAC uses a PCAS-Ground tablet to identify a target position for a MV-22 with a PCAS-Air module.

Within four minutes, the target was hit by an inert Griffin missile fired from the MV-22.
