South Korea launches aerial refueling tanker contest today

South Korea has started the process of acquiring an aerial tanker fleet with the bidding opened for submission from today till end of the month.

Defense Acquisition Procurement Agency (DAPA) will choose a winner in June and the first two tankers are to be delivered in 2018. This will be followed by two more aircraft one year later.
