During the second quarter of 2015, Raytheon will test a modified Tomahawk Block IV missile nose cone attached to a T-39. The nose cone contains a new multi-mode seeker.

The new seeker has both active and passive radio frequency antennas that will allow future Tomahawks to broadcast active radar as well as passively receive target electromagnetic radiation.
