F-22 test squadron gave former U.S. Navy MiG killer an F-16 incentive flight before his retirement

William Freckleton, 412 Range Squadron lead F-22 range control officer, was given an F-16 incentive flight by the 411th Flight Test Squadron at Edwards Air Force Base in recognition of his contributions in the military and government civilian service.

Freckleton is the only decorated Vietnam veteran at the 411th FLTS with 117 combat missions, one MiG-17 kill, 1,100 flight hours in the F-4 and 1,300 hours in the F-14, and 357 aircraft carrier landings.

He is retiring this year.
