NAVAIR announced that a P-8A equipped with the new APS-154 Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) radar has made its first flight on May 20.

The APS-154 AAS radar will replace the APS-149 Littoral Surveillance Radar System (LSRS) carried on specially modified P-3C Orion aircraft.
