Russia says France transferred advanced technology during construction of Mistral-class ships

Russia’s United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) says three important technologies were obtained from France during the construction of Mistral-class helicopter carriers.

One of those technologies gleaned is France’s large-block assembly of ships. Baltic Shipyard in St. Petersburg was able to learn French techniques during the construction of the aft end of one of the ships.
