The final M117 bomb in the Pacific Air Force’s inventory was dropped by a B-52 crew from the 20th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron on Jun. 26.

The M117 750-pound general purpose bomb is a leftover from the Vietnam War, over the last decade, B-52 aircrews were able to do live weapons training from the stockpile during deployments to Guam.
